Using the University's Online Library
The award-winning APUS Richard G. Trefry Library is available online for students, alumni, and faculty. You can access the library by logging into the ecampus and selecting the Library link in the menu.
Getting Started
Start searching as soon as you arrive on the Trefry Library website! Type a few keywords into the big Everything search box, and you’ll have thousands of scholarly sources at your fingertips.
Available Resources
While the Library’s main search box is a good place to start any research project, there is much more to explore. Browse the menus along the top of the Library website to learn more about:
1. Research
The Trefry Library subscribes to hundreds of databases full of scholarly journals, ebooks, multimedia and more – offering access exclusively for APUS students, faculty and staff. In addition to these crucial search tools, you will find tutorials to help you sharpen your search skills, helpful research guides for each degree program, specialized research sections, resources especially for graduate students and more.
2. Subjects A to Z
Looking for the research or study tools for a new topic? The Library’s subject pages cover a wide range of topics and will link you to the best that the library and the open web have to offer.
3. Course Materials
This section of the library houses the undergraduate and graduate bookstores, where you can learn how to access materials required for your courses. 4. Resources
This section provides links to services and resources to help you achieve academic success. Find detailed writing and citing guidance in Writing@APUS, live tutoring services, multimedia and language tools, career services and more.
