The LGBTQ+ Students and Friends chapter promotes awareness, education, and diversity among the university's community members. LGBT+ Students and Friends supports those of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender sexual orientation, helping members to meet the social, cultural, health, and political advocacy needs to become community models of the future.
